Why this site exists
Agentic commerce became the structuring topic of ecommerce in a matter of months. This site has a simple goal: to be a reference on the subject, with precise definitions, protocol explanations verified at the source, and actionable guides for merchants.
Three editorial principles govern every page:
- Factual and sourced — dated claims (launches, adoptions, specifications) are checked against official announcements and documentation before publication.
- Self-contained and quotable — every definition is written to stand alone, for human readers and generative engines alike.
- Practice-oriented — understanding is only half the journey; the guides turn concepts into prioritised work.
The site is updated as the sector evolves, with a weekly watch published every week.
Who publishes this site
This site is published by Stafe, a web agency near Angers, France. Founded in 2008, the agency specialises in developing innovative solutions, ecommerce, and growing companies' visibility — particularly through SEO and GEO.
The author
Patrice Calvez runs Stafe and founded Apisell, a B2B ecommerce platform. Some twenty years spent building merchant sites and working on their visibility led him to agentic commerce, whose protocols he has followed since their first specifications. This site's content grows out of that daily practice: the problems described here — structured catalogs, per-account pricing, MCP servers — are the ones encountered in production.
You can follow him on LinkedIn or write to him through the contact page.
Transparency — The Stafe team also develops Apisell, a B2B ecommerce platform for manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors. Some guides on this site carry boxes pointing to Apisell: they are always identified as commercial links.
