DEFINITION
Product feed — A structured data flow (prices, stock, variants, attributes) exposing a catalog to platforms and agents. The most direct entry point to agentic surfaces.
In practice
Originally built for comparison engines and Google Shopping, the feed became the gateway of agentic commerce: UCP activation runs through Merchant Center, and the ACP specification also relies on a feed. Three requirements: completeness, freshness, strict consistency with the site.
